St. Michael & Company is a women-centered and faith-based health and wellness company in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Our wellness journey began when a family member was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2017. Since searching for healthy options for cancer care and treatments, we have traveled to 30 countries and explored mind and body wellness alternatives such as nutrition, yoga, meditation, acupuncture, therapeutic massage therapies, and aromatherapies.
The love for health and wellness is very personal. Our mission is our passion, and our passion is our mission. We believe in the pursuit of health and wellness in a holistic way to create transformational change. Hope and healing one person at a time.
A Journey of Growth, Purpose, and Transformation
Every meaningful journey begins with a purpose.
For St. Michael Health & Wellness Center, that journey began in 2018 with a simple but profound vision—to create a company that would improve lives through health, wellness, education, and compassionate service. From the very beginning, the vision was never limited to providing wellness treatments. It was about helping people live healthier, more purposeful lives while creating opportunities for communities to thrive.
What started as St. Michael & Company steadily evolved through years of learning, professional development, and international experience. During this time, our founder pursued advanced education and specialized training in holistic and therapeutic wellness, earning professional credentials and studying healing traditions from around the world. These experiences helped shape a philosophy that wellness is not simply the absence of illness, but a lifelong journey that nurtures the body, mind, spirit, relationships, and the environment.
As this vision matured, so did the understanding that true wellness extends beyond. Healthy communities require more than healthcare—they require education, economic opportunity, environmental stewardship, and strong partnerships. Wellness became not just an individual experience, but a shared responsibility.
This philosophy led to the establishment of St. Michael Health & Wellness Center in Calatagan, Batangas, where months of planning and renovation transformed a coastal property into a wellness sanctuary overlooking one of the country’s richest marine environments. The center officially opened its doors in March 2026, becoming more than a destination for rest and relaxation—it became a place where wellness, community, and nature come together.
As our relationships with the people of Calatagan deepened, so did our mission. We recognized the extraordinary opportunity to contribute beyond hospitality by working alongside local communities to protect one of the Philippines’ most valuable natural resources—its coastal and marine ecosystems.
This realization inspired a new chapter in our story. St. Michael expanded its mission to include community wellness, marine conservation, biodiversity education, and sustainable ecotourism. Through partnerships with barangays, fisherfolk, farmers, government agencies, colleges, universities, and environmental organizations, we began creating programs that strengthen livelihoods while protecting the environment for future generations.
Today, initiatives such as Marine and Biodiversity Expeditions, community clean-up drives, mangrove conservation, sustainable fishing programs, environmental education, and community-based ecotourism have become an integral part of who we are. We believe that healthy oceans support healthy communities, and that conservation and economic opportunity can grow together when local people are active partners in protecting their natural heritage.
Although our company has evolved significantly since 2018, our purpose remains unchanged: to improve lives through holistic wellness and create lasting transformational change. Every wellness retreat, every community partnership, every student expedition, every conservation initiative, and every relationship we build reflects that commitment.
Looking ahead, we envision St. Michael as more than a wellness destination. We aspire to become a center for holistic wellness, environmental stewardship, education, and community collaboration—where people come not only to heal, but also to learn, serve, and help create healthier communities and a more sustainable future.

ESSENTIAL OILS AND AROMATHERAPY
Initially, St. Michael & Company started as an essential oil company. In 2018, St. Michael & Company Essential Oils launched the Cancer Care and Wellness Oil Blends. These essential oil blends complement cancer care and are 100% natural, organic, and therapeutic. As we pursue our purpose and passion, we concluded that a holistic approach to wellness is the way to go.
WELLNESS WOMEN'S RETREATS
St. Michael & Company’s mission is to encourage women’s wellness and promote ways to improve their quality of life. The company acknowledges the complexity of women’s lives, the many hats they must wear in modern society, and their resiliency.
We recognize that unexpected life changes sometimes require women to abruptly change course, chart the unknown, and catch a second wind to set sail on a new course.
The company is dedicated to helping women find their passion and purpose through the art of self-discovery. In November 2022, the first women’s retreat, Catch the Wind, a goal-setting and vision board women’s retreat, was launched. Twenty-three women attended the first women’s retreat. In February 2023, the first destination women’s retreat Mindshift: Pushing Beyond Your Limits was held in the Philippines. In line with the company’s mission, the first women’s retreat for cancer survivors and caregivers Take a Breath. Celebrate was launched in June 2023.
SPECIALLY CURATED MASSAGE AND SPA
In August 2023, St. Michael Massage & Spa was opened. Serving only women, the massage and spa center is women-centered and faith-based. It is home to traditional ancient Asian massage therapies such as Shiatsu, Balinese, Thai, and Ayurvedic treatments such as Shirodhara, Abhyanga, and more.
We love signature holistic and indigenous massages, organic facials, and specially curated massage/spa treatments. Merging the elements of nature into each of its treatments for a soulful, sensorial, enriching experience creates a sense of balance and rejuvenation.
Our travels to more than 28 countries exploring wellness and various massage modalities provide an opportunity to offer holistic wellness massage and spa treatments. With our training credentials from the U.S., Philippines, Bali, Thailand, and Japan, we can provide unique, curated, and specialized Asian traditional massage and spa treatments for women.
