A Proud Moment of Regional Connection and Environmental Appreciation 🌎🌱

At St. Michael Health & Wellness and Consuelo Café, we believe that hospitality is more than serving meals—it is about creating meaningful experiences that connect people, culture, and community.

Recently, we had the honor of catering for the ASEAN ENMAPS delegates from Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia during their visit to the beautiful Ang Pulo Mangroves in Calatagan, Batangas. 🌿

ASEAN ENMAPS is a regional initiative that brings together participants and delegates across Southeast Asia to promote collaboration, cultural understanding, environmental awareness, and sustainable community engagement among ASEAN member countries. Programs like these encourage meaningful exchanges focused on education, environmental appreciation, leadership, and regional partnership.

This meaningful experience was made even more special through our partnership with the Ang Pulo Palitakan Women’s Organization, a local community organization actively involved in the protection, preservation, and management of the Ang Pulo mangrove ecosystem. Their dedication reflects the important role women play in environmental stewardship, coastal sustainability, and community leadership.

Set against the serene coastal landscape of Calatagan, the visit highlighted the importance of mangrove ecosystems and the collective responsibility of protecting our natural environment for future generations. The Ang Pulo Mangroves served as a beautiful symbol of sustainability, biodiversity, and the interconnectedness of communities across the region.

For us, being part of this meaningful international engagement was truly a proud moment. It reflects our continuing commitment to thoughtful hospitality, quality service, and showcasing the warmth of Filipino culture to guests from around the world.

Through food, fellowship, and shared experiences, we celebrate not only the beauty of our local community but also the spirit of unity across ASEAN nations. Experiences like these inspire us to continue supporting initiatives that promote sustainability, cultural appreciation, and global understanding.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the ASEAN ENMAPS delegates, organizers, and the Ang Pulo Palitakan Women’s Organization for allowing us to be part of this memorable visit to Ang Pulo Mangroves—where nature, culture, women empowerment, and regional collaboration beautifully came together. 🌊✨
