The Journey

For more than three years, we have been on a journey toward the healing ministry. This calling has been gently urging us forward, but it needed careful discernment. Our spiritual advisers and a dear friend encouraged us to take a step back and spend time clearing the path ahead. Recently, we were fortunate to join the nuns at the monastery for a transformative six-day silent retreat, which provided clarity and guidance for our ministry.

“And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

The time we spent at the retreat was profoundly meaningful and gave us a clearer spiritual direction for our ministry. We learned the importance of silence and reflection, the power of communal prayer, and the value of discernment on our spiritual journey. St. Michael’s existence is now better aligned with our higher calling, gifted by these insights.

**Supporting Our Local Communities in the Philippines**

We’re excited to share our plans for helping those in need:

**Oncology Massage Program:** Starting in July, we will offer special massages designed for cancer patients at a nearby town in Rizal. This initiative aims to provide comfort and support to those undergoing treatment.

**Essential Oils and Aromatherapy:** When you purchase products from St. Michael’s line of essential oils, a portion of the proceeds will go to support the Carmelite Monastery. Your purchase can make a difference!

**Social Action and Medical Mission:** Also beginning in July, we will join in efforts to provide cancer care every Friday as part of our social action and medical mission outreach.

**Feed the Children Program:** In December, we will celebrate the 8th anniversary of St. Michael by sponsoring an event to provide meals for children in need.

**St. Michael Wellness Center:** We are thrilled to announce that a Wellness Center for Women will be established, with plans to open in August this year. This center will focus on promoting health and well-being.
