HARDWORKING MEN OF QUILITISAN

A special thank you to the hardworking Men of Quilitisan who proudly carried on the tradition of festival cooking during our Pagoda preparation. 👏🔥
While the women carefully prepared the suman, the men gathered around the large pots and open fires — skillfully preparing the meats, carefully seasoning every dish, and patiently cooking the beloved traditional Quilitisan fiesta meals.
From the rich and savory Menudo, the deeply flavored and tender Estufado, the hearty and comforting Puchero, to the perfectly simmered Caldereta — every dish reflected not only culinary skill, but also tradition, teamwork, and pride in feeding the community.
The aroma of slow-cooked sauces, spices, vegetables, and tender meat filled the air all day, creating the unmistakable feeling of a true Filipino community celebration. These dishes are more than food — they are expressions of hospitality, culture, and connection passed down through generations.
In Quilitisan, cooking for the community is a labor of love. ❤️
Maraming salamat sa inyong sipag, malasakit, at pagmamahal sa tradisyon.
