Extremely hot temperatures here in Vietnam but definitely enjoying the beautiful meditative gardens. Learning about the art and culture and how the Buddhist way of life achieve daily peace and wellness.
Visited a Pumelo Garden located in the Coconut Island in Ho Chin Min. The goal is to learn the agriculture of growing the green Pomelo known as Bưởi only found in Vietnam.
Part of taking care of the fruit bearing trees include bee pollination . I learned that there is such a thing as Royal Jelly. Royal jelly is a milky secretion made by worker honeybees (Apis mellifera). It’s rich in carbs, protein, amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals. Royal jelly has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties to reduce cholesterol, blood sugar, PMS symptoms, menopause symptoms, and chemotherapy side effects.

Pomelos are like grapefruit but with a milder taste. Large and slightly oblong citrus is green and faintly yellow when ripe. You can find it most of the year in Vietnam, and on display during special occasions.
